Industrial Sewing Machine Operator

International Services, LLC is seeking a full-time experienced Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to sew straps, apply rivets, and apply snaps to industrial mesh protective equipment such as gloves, tunics, leggings, etc.

• Full Time: 40 hr/week. – work 9 hours/day Monday through Thursday and a half-day Friday morning (4 hours).

Essential Functions:

• Sewing and riveting straps onto metal mesh gloves and protective gear utilizing a single-needle industrial sewing machine.  Candidates must have experience in operating a sewing machine and performing basic maintenance functions such as changing needles and thread, oiling, and changing the bobbin. 

• Meet delivery deadlines by working with the team to ensure products are made correctly and with good quality. Strong attention to detail.

• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in the sewing area.

• Must be able to follow instructions consistently with minimum supervision.

Job Requirements:

• Standing, sitting, walking, and bending as needed. Hearing and vision are required to be within normal ranges with or without correction.

• Must be able to pull or push up to 40 pounds periodically throughout the day as needed.

• Previous experience is required.

• Work in a small team in an air-conditioned facility.

Pay: starting from $16.00 per hour (Full-Time Position)

• Sewing: 1 year Industrial Sewing (Preferred)
